India reported the lowest single-day fatalities due to coronavirus in over a month, even as fresh Covid-19 cases rose from a day earlier.
2,745 new coronavirus cases and 6 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, according to an update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 8 a.m. on June 1.
Active Covid-19 cases continued to rise, crossing the 18,000-mark, as fresh additions outpaced one-day recoveries.
