Active Covid-19 cases in India jumped to the highest in almost three months, crossing the 25,000-mark, as new infections continue to surge.
The country reported 4,518 new coronavirus cases and nine deaths in the last 24 hours, according to an update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 8 a.m. on June 6. One-day recoveries stood at 2,779.
While the daily positivity rate in the country has now jumped to 1.62%, the current recovery rate stands at 98.73%.
