Voltas Ltd. delivered good Q2 FY22 performance across all metrics, with room air conditioners volume growing 19%, double digit EBIT margin continuing at 10% and leadership position with a 27% market share. The project business had an ordinary quarter, on execution rescheduled, but nothing worrying.
A clean debt-free balance sheet, strong brand and distribution are Voltas' forte. It is aided by its product range and regional mix. It has also split its business into B2C and B2B, which now gives it a sharper focus on the durables business.
Voltas with its healthy outlook and leadership in the RAC business remains our pick.
