The company reported a volume of 1.62 million tonnes per annum, down 12% YoY but up 33% QoQ as it did not resort to selling cement at unremunerative prices and maintained pricing discipline. It reported a realisation of Rs 5,959/tonne (Rs 4,495/tonne in Q4 FY21), posting robust realisation growth of 10% YoY. On a QoQ basis, however, the realisation was down 2%. Orient Cement reported Ebitda margins of 19.1% (24.4% Q4 FY21), down 530 basis points as power/fuel costs shot up by 49% YoY on a per tonne basis.
