India Mutual Fund Tracker - Net flows Turn Negative, Weighed By Liquid, Debt Schemes: Motilal Oswal

Overall net outflows came in at Rs 472 billion for September 2021 (versus positive flows of Rs 330 billion reported in August 2021).

This is one of the highest outflows since Sep 2020 (which saw outflows of Rs 521 billion).

Industry flows stood at Rs 1.7 trillion in FY22 year-to-date (versus Rs 2 trillion in FY21 year-to-date), driven by strong flows in equity and hybrid schemes.

The number of folio additions reached all-time highs of 3.1 million, driven by equity, hybrid, and other schemes.

Debt and liquid funds saw a further reduction in the folio count.

Systematic investment plan flows reached new highs of Rs 103.5 billion, indicating growth of 33% YoY and 4% month-on-month.
