Anil Agarwal-led Vedanta Ltd. is among the companies slated to announce their Q3 earnings this week. The company informed the bourses about its Q3 earnings schedule in an exchange filing on Jan. 27.
Vedanta is a natural resource company with operations in oil and gas, iron ore, copper, steel silver, zinc, lead, nickel, power and glass substrate. Its products cater to various industries including renewable energy, transportation, construction and packaging, automobile and aerospace.

Vedanta Q3 Results: Date And Time
Vedanta Ltd. in a filing to the bourses said that its board will meet to discuss and approve the financial statements for Q3 of the ongoing fiscal on Jan. 31, Friday.
"We wish to inform that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, to inter‐alia consider the Unaudited Financial Results of the Company for the Third Quarter and Nine Months ended December 31, 2024," it stated.
As per the regulations of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), trading in the shares of Vedanta will remain suspended for designated persons and their immediate relatives until the closure of the 48-hour window following the announcement of the company’s results

Vedanta Share Price History
Shares of Vedanta Ltd. have been on a decline over the past few months, falling nearly 3% over the last six months. The stock price has dropped nearly 3% over the past five trading sessions while falling 1.3% in a month. In contrast, the stock has surged more than 60% in a year.
On Thursday, shares of Vedanta ended 0.77% higher at Rs 433.90 apiece on the NSE, as compared to benchmark Nifty 50's which remained flat at 23249 points.
Vedanta Q2 Performance
Vedanta Ltd. reported a profit of Rs 5,603 crore in the second quarter of FY, beating analyst estimates with support from high deferred tax. In comparison, the company has posted a net loss of Rs 915 crore in the year-ago period. The sharp spike in profit was despite a drop of 3.4% year-on-year in revenue at Rs 37,634 crore in Q2 versus Rs 38,945 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
