MTNL in an exchange filing last month said that its board of directors will meet on Feb. 14 to consider and approve the company's financial statements for the third quarter of FY25.
"We write to inform you that a meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on Friday, 14th February 2025 to inter-alia consider and approve the Unaudited Reviewed Financial Results for the Quarter ended on 31st December 2024," the company stated in a filing dated Jan. 17.
As per SEBI regulations, the trading window for dealing in the securities of the company for designated persons and their immediate relatives shall remain closed till Feb. 16. The trading window was closed on Jan. 1.
MTNL Share Price History
Shares of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd. have nosedived nearly 7% over the past five trading sessions on the NSE. The stock has moved up by nearly 15% in the last months but plunged 22% over the past six months. Over a year, however, it has show some resllience, gaining nearly 14% on the NSE.
MTNL Q2 Earnings Highlights
MTNL saw a muted financial performance in the second quarter of FY25 with net loss widening to Rs 890.28 crore in comparison to Rs 773.46 crore in the year-ago period. Ebitda loss stood at Rs 119.29 crore against a loss of Rs 110.93 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Revenues slipped 5.2% YoY to Rs 174.46 crore in Q3 from Rs 183.85 crore in the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal year.
