Mphasis Ltd. said it's confident of achieving its margin forecast of 15-17 percent for the ongoing financial year.
“The company's margin contracted in the quarter ended December due to salary hike and an acquisition during the period,” Chief Financial Officer V Suryanarayanan told BloombergQuint in an interaction. “We are confident that the margin will come back on track in the March quarter”.
The BPO operator is working towards improving its operational efficiency that will boost margin, he told BloombergQuint in an interaction.

- Revenue up 3 percent at Rs 1,971 crore.
- Net profit up 2.6 percent at Rs 278 crore.
- EBIT down 1 percent at Rs 311 crore.
- EBIT margin stood at 15.8 percent versus 16.4 percent.
