Adani Power Ltd. will hold a meeting of its Board of Directors on Wednesday, April 30, to review and approve the audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2025.

In a stock exchange filing shared on April 22, the company shared details of its upcoming meeting, trading window closure for designated persons and other details.

Billionaire Gautam Adani-led company is the largest private thermal power producer in India. It has a power generation capacity of 17,510 MW comprising thermal power plants in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Tamil Nadu, and a 40 MW solar power project in Gujarat.

Adani Power Q4 Results: Trading Window Closure

In view of the anticipated results, the company’s trading window remains closed from April 1, 2025, until 48 hours after the financial results are announced. This standard protocol for listed entities ensures compliance with SEBI norms to prevent insider trading. Typically, senior management, directors, promoters and their relatives are prohibited from dealing in company shares during this blackout period.

Adani Power Q3FY25 Results

Adani Power reported revenue from operations of Rs 13,671 crore for the December 2024 quarter, an increase of 5.23% from Rs 12,991 crore in the same period of the preceding fiscal. The consolidated revenue marked an 11% YoY increase to Rs 14,833 crore, driven by higher volumes, the company said.

The company reported a consolidated power sale volume at 23.3 billion units in Q3 FY25, reflecting an 8% increase from 21.5 billion units in Q3 FY24, driven by higher power demand and enhanced operating capacity. 

Total expenses during this period rose to Rs 10,775 crore, compared to Rs 10,145 crore in the December 2023 quarter a year ago. Meanwhile, the profit before tax stood at Rs 4,059 crore, a notable increase from Rs 3,210 crore YoY basis, though slightly lower than Rs 4,134 crore in the Sept. 2024 quarter.

Additionally, Adani Power reported a 23% rise in Ebitda at Rs 6,185 crore for Q3FY25 against Rs 5,009 crore for in the year-ago quarter.

In the past five sessions, shares of Adani Power Ltd. have declined nearly 5%. In the last one month, the stock has gained 7.76%, while sliding 8.26% in the past six months.

The Adani Group stock touched a 52-week high of Rs 895.85 apiece on the NSE on June 3, 2024. The stock touched a 52-week low at Rs 432 apiece on Nov. 21, 2024.  

On Monday, shares of Adani Power were trading flat at Rs 548.80 apiece on the NSE at 2:43 p.m., compared to the benchmark Nifty rising 0.98% to 24,274.05.
