West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Friday said that he has sent a report to the Centre against the backdrop of the violent attack on Bharatiya Janata Party Chief, JP Nadda's election convoy.

Castigating the Mamata Banerjee government over the attack, allegedly by TMC supporters, Dhankhar quoted that a dangerous game of insider and outsider has been going on in West Bengal.

He mentioned that it was that such a shameful incident has occurred on International Human Rights Day.

"I have sent my report to the central government whose contents cannot be shared on propriety basis," he expressed at a press conference at Raj Bhawan.

He alleged that the violators of law in West Bengal have the protection of police and administration. An accusation like that is simply debatable and not proven with concrete facts and evidence.

"Come what may, the Governor of West Bengal shall vindicate his oath" he asserted, adding it was his duty to protect the Constitution of India.

"Accountability shall be enforced," he said, and reminded Banerjee "not to play with fire".
