Assembly Exit Polls: Trend So Far

As per various exit polls, the BJP is set for a comfortable win in Madhya Pradesh while it also leads in Rajasthan. MP was seen to be an uphill task with reported anti-incumbency and fatigue with the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government. Rajasthan on the other hand may well follow its 25-year-old pattern of voting the incumbent out every election—this time being Ashok Gehlot-led Congress.

The Congress is expected to retain power in Chhattisgarh, albeit with a smaller majority. The grand old party is also projected to win in Telangana, the second southern state after Karnataka to fall in its kitty.

Telangana CM KCR is staring at a defeat. Though it is still projected to be running a close second to the Congress. The BJP is confined to single digits.
