Mumbai Rains: IMD Projects Orange Alert For Neighbouring Raigad For July 27

The IMD predicts orange alert conditions for the Raigad areas neighbouring Mumbai on July 27. The remaining districts in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region are projected to receive a yellow alert, with the exception of Dhule which is likely to only see moderate rain. Mumbai Rains: BMC Employees Deployed To Drain Out Excess Rainwater

Earlier in the day, the Brihanmumbai Municipal corporation deployed its employees to drain rain water that pooled up in low-lying areas and to make sure that manholes stayed uncovered. The BMC also said in its post on 'X' that machinery was utilised to aid in the drainage efforts.
