The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) announced on Friday that some exams for classes 10, 11, and 12 in the hard zone areas have been rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions.

According to the official notification, the board has postponed the class 10th exam of Hindu/Urdu from March 1 to March 25. Similarly, 11th class exams for computer science, information practices, and other subjects have been rescheduled from March 3 to March 25.

Additionally, class 11th exams of environmental science, functional English, physical education, Islamic studies, Vedic studies, Buddhist studies, electronics, travel tourism hotel management, English literature, and food technology, initially scheduled for March 3, have also been moved to March 25.

The exam body said that the exam of general English paper for class 12th has been postponed from March 1 to March 24.

The development comes amid severe weather conditions in Jammu-Kashmir, which has normal life out of gear.
