Stocks To Buy Or Sell: Gaurav Sharma's Top Three Picks On June 16

The NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex started Monday on a lackluster note. However, the indices quickly rose, as heavyweight HDFC Bank Ltd. and Bharti Airtel Ltd. stocks advanced.

As of 12:45 p.m., the Nifty 50 was trading in the green, 0.86% higher at 24,934.30 and the Sensex 30 was trading 0.81% up at 81,769.49.

Gaurav Sharma, associate vice president and head of research (equity, commodity and currency) at Globe Capital has 'buy' recommendations on these stocks this Monday.

Bank of Baroda

Sharma suggested buying Bank of Baroda at Rs 239 apiece with a target price of Rs 250 apiece and a stop loss at Rs 234 apiece.

Out of 37 analysts tracking the company, 28 have a 'buy' rating, seven suggest 'hold', and two recommend 'sell', according to Bloomberg data.

Biocon

Sharm recommends buying Biocon shares at Rs 355 apiece, with a price target of Rs 378 apiece and a stop loss at Rs 345 apiece.

Of the 19 analysts tracking the stock, 11 suggest buying it, three maintain a 'hold' call, and five recommend selling the stock, according to Bloomberg data.

ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co.

Sharma also suggests buying ICICI Lombard stocks at Rs 1,940, with a target price of Rs 2,100, and a stop loss at Rs 1,860.

Out of 29 analysts tracking the company, 20 have a 'buy' call, seven recommend 'hold', while two suggest 'sell', according to Bloomberg.
