PNB Housing Finance Share Price Hits Upper Circuit After Q4 Results

PNB Housing Finance's share price surged by 10.05% to briefly hit the upper circuit limit following the release of the fourth-quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2024-25. The stock surged over seven-month high as it traded at Rs 1,085 apiece on Tuesday.

The home loan provider reported a 28% increase in standalone net profit, reaching Rs 567.1 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025.

Total income for the quarter rose by 13% to Rs 2,045.3 crore, as per the company's exchange filing on Monday. The profit margin widened to 27.74% in the December quarter, compared to 24.57% in the same period last year.

The company's board, which approved the financial results on Monday, also cleared a final dividend payment of Rs 5 per share for FY25. This decision reflects the company's strong financial performance and commitment to returning value to its shareholders.

Additionally, PNB Housing Finance disclosed that the trading window for dealing in its shares will open for designated persons from April 30, 2025. This is in accordance with the company's Code of Conduct for Prohibition of Insider Trading and the provisions of the SEBI Regulations, 2015, and subsequent amendments.

The scrip rose as much as 10.05% to Rs 1,085 apiece. It pared gains to trade 7.87% higher at Rs 1,063.85 apiece, as of 09:57 a.m. This compares to a 0.23% advance in the NSE Nifty 50 Index.

It has risen 32.55% in the last 12 months. Total traded volume so far in the day stood at 25 times its 30-day average. The relative strength index was at 70.

12 analysts tracking the company maintain a 'buy' rating for the stock, according to Bloomberg data. The average 12-month consensus price target implies an upside of 13.3%
