Nifty Top Gainers, Losers On July 17: TCPL, Tata Steel, To Tech Mahindra, IndusInd
India's benchmark equity indices pulled back after two days of gains, weighed by heavyweights Infosys Ltd. and HDFC Bank Ltd.

Tata Consumer Products Ltd., Tata Steel Ltd., Hindalco Industries Ltd., Trent Ltd. and Titan Co. were among the top gainers in the NSE Nifty 50 on Thursday.
Tech Mahindra Ltd., IndusInd Bank Ltd., Infosys Ltd., SBI Life Insurance Co. and HCL Technologies Ltd. declined the most.

TCPL shares led the gains, rising 2.25% to close at Rs 1,105.80 apiece. Tata Steel and Hindalco closed 1.63% and 1.17% up at Rs 159.90 and Rs 674.55 respectively. While Trent shares advanced 0.66%, shares of Titan also closed in the green, rising 0.47%.
Marking the highest losses for the day, Tech Mahindra declined 2.75% to close at RS 1,573.70. IndusInd Bank ended 1.67% lower at Rs 865.10 apiece. Infosys and SBI Life closed nearly 1.52% and 1.46% lower, respectively. HCL Tech stock also fell 1.21%.

The NSE Nifty 50 ended 100 points or 0.4% lower at 25,111.45. The 50-stock gauge struggled to take out 25,200 due to call writing at that level on the weekly expiry day. Intraday, the index shed 0.44%.
Thirty-one stocks declined, with Tech Mahindra Ltd. falling the most.
The BSE Sensex lost 375.24 points or 0.45% to close at 82,249.24.
