Nifty 50 Top Gainers And One Loser On April 8: Power Grid Only Laggard, JFS, Cipla Gain
Nifty 50 closed 1.69% up at 22,535 and Sensex closed 1.49% higher at 74,227.

The Indian stock market recovered the losses that it made Monday following a severe crash that saw the benchmark indices declining over 5%.
There was only one stock that declined at market close, defying Monday's trend when only two stocks closed in the green.
The stock market closed higher, building on the momentum with which it opened. The benchmark indices opened with over 1% of gains and ended the day over 1% higher.
Nifty 50 closed 1.69% up at 22,535 and Sensex closed 1.49% higher at 74,227.
The top gainers for Tuesday's trade were Jio Financial Services Ltd., Shriram Finance Ltd., Cipla Ltd., Bharat Electronics Ltd. and Eicher Motors Ltd.
The only stock that closed the trading session with losses in Tuesday's trade was Power Grid Corp.

Jio Financial Service gained as much as 5.61% to Rs 225.50 apiece. While, Shriram Finance surged as much as 5.61% to trade at Rs 648.45 apiece.
Cipla Ltd. followed closely as it surged 3.82% at intraday level to trade at Rs 1,437 apiece. Bharat Electronic and Eicher also rose 5.84% and 4.02%, respectively.
Shares of Bharat Electronics rose on Tuesday following the announcement of a Rs 2,210-crore deal with the Indian Air Force.
Power Grid closed the trading session with losses as the stock declined 1.64% during the trading session to trade at Rs 294.
On Monday, the market crash followed Trump's announcement of a 25% tariff on automobiles and parts, along with 26% reciprocal tariffs on Indian imports.
This created significant uncertainty and volatility in global markets, negatively affecting investor sentiment and causing stock prices to plummet.
