(Bloomberg) -- Mizuho International Plc's Head of Global Markets Zahra Peerbhoy is leaving the Japanese brokerage after 15 months, according to a statement.
Peerbhoy will be replaced next month by Asif Godall, formerly co-chief investment officer of Cairn Capital, Mizuho said in the statement on Thursday. At least nine London-based fixed income traders and salespeople have left the bank in recent weeks, people familiar with the matter said in January.
“I have every confidence in him delivering on our strategic priorities,” Suneel Bakhshi, Mizuho International's new chief executive officer, said of Godall in the statement. Godall will be a member of Mizuho International's Executive Committee, Bakhshi said.
