Prestige Estates Projects Ltd., Ashok Leyland Ltd., and Biocon Ltd. are three midcap stocks with 'buy' recommendations on Friday.

Sameer Dalal from Natverlal & Sons Stockbrokers Pvt., and Rajesh Bhosale, equity technical and derivative analyst at Angel One, shared their insights with NDTV Profit.

Dalal sees Ashok Leyland as a pick for long term investment, and suggests holding the stock. "The entire commercial vehicle space in India has opportunity to grow. Ashok Leyland has shown consistent growth, and it will see further growth," he said.

"Stay invested for long term perspective as investors will make good money," Dalal noted.

Dalal's second pick under the mid-cap stock is Biocon with a long term view. "Going forward, the new biologic drugs will get more preference in the US and that will see an uptick," he said. He asked investors to stay invested in the stock.

Bhosale's top pick is Prestige Estates Projects with a stoploss of Rs 1,600. "The stock is looking very positive on the daily charts. Hold on to the stock, with a stoploss of Rs 1,600, and on the higher side Rs 1,755 will be the first target. Beyond that, the stock can further move toward Rs 1,900," he said.
