In compliance with SEBI norms to prevent insider trading, the trading window for dealing in the securities of Infosys has been closed from June 16 to July 28. The trading restrictions will be applicable to designated persons and their immediate relatives.
Brokerages including JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, Jefferies anticipate Infosys will narrow or raise the lower end of its full-year revenue growth guidance from the earlier 0–3% band, citing stable macro conditions and deal momentum.
The consensus view suggests the company is unlikely to significantly raise the upper end of the guidance.
Infoys reported an 11.75% year-on-year (YoY) decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 7,038 crore in Q4FY25 from Rs 7,975 crore in Q4FY24.
Total income increased 3.6% YoY to Rs 42,115 crore in Q4FY25 from Rs 40,652 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Total expenses rose 6.7% YoY to Rs 32,452 crore in Q4FY25 from Rs 30,412 crore in the same quarter of the preceding fiscal.
The company has scheduled an earnings call on July 23 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. to discuss the results for Q1 with investors and analysts.
The Bengaluru-based software services provider's first-quarter consolidated revenue is likely to rise 2% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 41,724 crore, compared with Rs 40,925 crore in the previous quarter, according to Bloomberg estimates.
Ebit is also seen up 2% at Rs 8,727 crore from Rs 8,575 crore. Ebit margin is projected to remain steady at 20.91%, marginally lower than 20.95% clocked in the sequential quarter.
