Ekagrah Rohan Murty, the 2-year-old grandson of Infosys Co-Founder NR Narayana Murthy, will receive Rs 3.75 crore from the company's final dividend for the financial year ending March 2025. This will take his total dividend earnings so far in this financial year to Rs 7.2 crore.
Infosys on Thursday declared a final dividend of Rs 25 per share. Ekagrah holds 15 lakh shares, amounting to a 0.04% stake in the company.
The record date for the dividend has been fixed as June 10, and the same will be paid on June 25.
In 2024, Murthy gifted 15 lakh Infosys shares to his grandson. At the time of the gift, the shares were valued at over Rs 240 crore. Ekagrah, born on November 2023, was four months old at the time. At 1 year and 5 months, he became one of India's youngest millionaires.
The IT giant posted a 28% surge in profit at Rs 8,501 crore in the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal. This is in comparison to profit of Rs 6,654 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, according to its stock exchange notification on Thursday. This beats analyst estimates of Rs 7,496 crore.

Revenue advanced by 2% year-on-year for the three months ended March, reaching Rs 46,402 crore in comparison to Rs 45,479 crore. Operating income, or earnings before interest and taxes rose 3% year-on-year to Rs 9,743 crore. The EBIT margin expanded to 21% from the earlier 20.8% in the previous quarter.
The country's second largest IT company said its guidance for fiscal 2027 revenue growth was at 1.5% to 3.5% in constant currency terms, missing brokerage estimate of 2%-4% for the year. The guidance for operating margin for the fiscal will be at 20% to 22%.
In addition to mssing forecast estimates, Infosys' CC growth declined by 1.3% to 3.1% in quarter ended March, clocking the sharpest decline in four quarters.
