Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd. saw its share price surge by 7.60% on Monday, following the announcement of its fourth quarter results.
GNFC's net profit surged by 62.3% to Rs 211 crore, compared to Rs 130 crore in the previous year.
Its consolidated revenue for the fourth quarter decreased by 2.6% year-on-year to Rs 2,055 crore, compared to Rs 2,110 crore in the same period last year.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation soared by 65.5% to Rs 240 crore, up from Rs 145 crore in Q4 FY24. The Ebitda margin also expanded to 11.7% from 6.9%, indicating enhanced operational efficiency and cost management.

The scrip rose as much as 7.60% to Rs 552.40 apiece. It pared gains to trade 4.72% higher at Rs 537.65 apiece, as of 10:04 a.m. This compares to a 0.78% advance in the NSE Nifty 50 Index.
It has fallen 19% in the last 12 months. Total traded volume so far in the day stood at 31 times its 30-day average. The relative strength index was at 65.
