FPIs Turn Net Buyers After 14 Sessions, Mop Up Rs Over 7,400 Crore
This comes after NSE Nifty 50 declined as much as 1.05% on Friday.

Foreign portfolio investors turned net buyers of Indian shares on Friday after 14 sessions of selling and bought stocks worth approximately Rs 7,437.4 crore, according to provisional data from the National Stock Exchange.
This is the highest buying since June 26 when the FPIs bought shares worth Rs 12,594 crore.
Domestic Institutional Investors, who have been buyers for the 25th session, bought stocks worth Rs 1,850.6 crore.
The FPIs sold stake worth Rs 5,534.31 crore on Thursday, according to the National Securities Depository Ltd. So far in August, the FPIs have sold stakes worth Rs 17,924 crore, according to NSDL.
The FPIs have sold shares worth Rs 17,741 crore in July. In 2025 so far, the FPIs have net sold equities worth Rs 1.13 lakh crore.
This comes after the Indian stock market fell over 1% on Friday.
The Indian equity benchmarks closed in the red, closing with losses after a day of gains. The NSE Nifty 50 declined as much as 1.05% during the day. The market clocked in the longest weekly losing streak in over five years.
The NSE Nifty 50 ended 232 points, or 0.95% lower at 24,363 and the 30-stock BSE Sensex ended 765 points, or 0.95% lower at 79,857.
