Central Bank Of India Dividend 2025: Amount, Record Date And More

Public sector lender Central Bank of India has announced the schedule for its Annual General Meeting to approve the recommendation of the final dividend for FY25. The bank has also finalised the record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders to receive the dividend.

In a stock exchange filing dated April 28, the bank announced that its Board of Directors considered and approved a final dividend for FY25.

"Recommended final dividend of 1.875% i.e. Rs.0.1875 per equity share of Rs. 10 each fully paid out of the net profits for the year ended March 31, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Bank," the filing said. 

On June 26, in an exchange filing, the bank announced July 4 as the record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders to receive the dividend. 

“... Bank has fixed Friday, 4th July, 2025, as the Record Date for determining entitlement of Members for payment of final dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2025,” the stock exchange filing read. 

Payment of the final dividend is subject to the approval of shareholders at the 18th Annual General Meeting of the bank scheduled on July 19, 2025. The dividend will be distributed to the eligible shareholders within 30 days from the date of the 18th Annual General Meeting.

Central Bank Of India Q4 Results 2025

The bank's consolidated net profit rose 35.3% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 1,104.58 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 816.29 crore in Q4 FY24. Total income increased 7.6% YoY to Rs 10,476.05 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 9,734.30 crore in Q4 FY24. Total expenditure grew 10.4% YoY to Rs 8,459.17 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 7,661.9 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Central Bank Of India Dividend History

In 2015, the bank provided a final dividend of Rs 0.5 per share to its shareholders. Before this, it distributed final dividends of Rs 2.5 and Rs 2 in 2013 and 2012, respectively.

Shares of Central Bank of India were trading 1.53% higher at Rs 39.8 apiece on the NSE at 9:37 a.m. on Monday, while the benchmark Nifty50 was down 0.18% at 25,591.8.
