Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continues its blockbuster run at the box office, crossing the Rs 180 crore net mark within just two days of release. Despite the expected drop after a record-breaking opening, the film is holding strong across major centres, with premium formats leading the momentum.

As per live estimates from Sacnilk, the film has collected Rs 37.72 crore net on Day 2, taking its total net collection to Rs 183.27 crore, while the gross stands at Rs 217.14 crore so far. Final numbers are expected to be slightly higher by the end of the day.

Occupancy and Shows

On Day 2, the film is running across 15,974 shows, with an overall occupancy of 51.7%. Hindi occupancy stood at 36.54% in the morning, rising to 55.92% in the afternoon, indicating steady growth through the day.

Region-wise Performance

  • Bengaluru leads with 53% overall occupancy (71% afternoon)

  • Hyderabad follows at 51% (76% afternoon)
  • Chennai holds strong at 50% (63% afternoon)
  • Pune and Jaipur recorded 44% each, with 56% and 63% afternoon occupancy, respectively
  • NCR posted 39% (66% afternoon)
  • Mumbai remains lower at 30% (45% afternoon)
  • Surat continues to lag at 9% (21% afternoon)

Language-wise Earnings (Day 2 – Net)

  • Hindi dominates with Rs 36.74 crore (52.7% occupancy) across 15,186 shows

  • Telugu follows with Rs 0.83 crore (39% occupancy)
  • Tamil earned Rs 0.14 crore (23%)
  • Kannada saw Rs 0.01 crore (25%)
  • Malayalam remained negligible with 3% occupancy

The Hindi version is clearly driving the film's business, while southern versions continue to underperform, partly due to delayed premieres and technical rollout issues in South markets.

Premium formats perform well

  • The IMAX (Hindi 2D) version saw strong footfall with around 50.89% occupancy overall, increasing to 54.33% in the afternoon.

    Bengaluru led with 74% (86% in afternoon), and Chennai recorded 60% (84%), Pune 65% (74%), and NCR 61% (78%)
  • The film is also doing well in Dolby Cinema, with 43% occupancy overall, which went up to 61% in the afternoon shows.
