There are a number of changes that could affect everyday life that will come into effect from Sunday, Dec. 1. Among them, there could be a revision in gas and fuel prices and a possible alteration in the credit card rules from State Bank of india.

There's also a possibility that you could face delays in receiving one–time passwords. Here's a list of what's changing:

LPG Price

The Government of India revises prices for commercial and domestic LPG gas cylinders usually on the first day of the month. No exception for December as well

Last price revision was carried out in October. Prices of commercial LPG cylinders were hiked by Rs 48. There was no change in domestic cylinder prices in October.

Aviation Turbine Fuel Price Change

Citizens can also expect an alteration in the airfares as routine revision in charges of aviation turbine fuel takes place in the first day of the month.

After two months of reduction, prices of ATF was increased 3.3% on Nov 1 by oil marketing companies.

There could be a change in jet fuel prices given the recent volatility in crude prices. Brent crude is currently below $75 to the barrel despite the spike in geopolitical tension in Europe. The pressure on prices was mitigated somewhat with the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah and the postponement of the meeting of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries.

SBI Credit Cards Rules

People who use credit cards for merchant and digital gaming platform transactions will not receive reward points from Dec 1.

OTP

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India asked operators to provide message traceability in a move to curb fraudulent one time password messages. The deadline for the directive is Nov 30.

The directive will take place from Dec 11. Some people said it will cause delay in receiving OTPs. However, TRAI dismissed them as factually incorrect, NTDV reported.
