Mangal Pandey of the Bharatiya Janata Party defeated Awadh Bihari Choudhary of the Rashtriya Janata Dal by 9,370 votes in the Siwan constituency as the Bihar Assembly Election Results 2025 were announced on Friday.

There are 13 candidates in the fray, out of which the main candidates are Awadh Bihari Choudhary of the RJD, Mangal Pandey from the BJP and Intekhab Ahmed from the Jan Suraaj Party. Sunita Devi of the BSP and Mohammad Kaifi Samshir of All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen are also some of the candidates.
