Large parts of India are likely to see rain, thunderstorms and hail this week as two western disturbances move in back-to-back, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said. A western disturbance is currently active over parts of central Pakistan and neighbouring Punjab in the lower troposphere. The most significant impact is expected in the northwestern region, where a fresh western disturbance will intensify weather conditions from April 7.
