The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is seeking input on the question papers for the CA Final, Intermediate, Foundation, and Post Qualification Course and INTT-AT examinations, which are set to be conducted this month of May.
This effort by ICAI aims to address any issues or impressions shared by candidates. Responses can be sent via email to examfeedback@icai.in or through Speed Post and must arrive at the institute by 24 May 2026.

Submissions should include the candidate's name, registration number, roll number, email ID, and mobile number to be deemed valid.
The ICAI's examination department will review the feedback, emphasising that this feedback mechanism serves to uphold “high standards” in its examination procedures.
The ICAI is organising the examination for chartered accountants in May 2026. The final exams are underway, conducted between May 2 and May 12, 2026, whereas the intermediate exams will be conducted from May 5 to May 15, 2026. Tests will be conducted in a pen & paper format from 2 PM to 5 PM IST.
Two exams per year
This came after the ICAI announced two exams per year instead of 3 sessions per year. In the revamped system, examinations will now be held biannually in May and November, while the January session will be eliminated.
This choice, officially conveyed by the ICAI Council, was finalised after evaluating insights from multiple stakeholders. At present, CA final examinations are held three times each year in January, May, and September. Beginning May 2026, candidates will be granted only two attempts each year. The May 2026 session marked the debut under this newly adjusted timeline.

A Jalapathi, secretary of the Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Chartered Accountants Association, explained to TOI that the previous framework saw results announced roughly six weeks following each attempt, which complicated students' preparation for subsequent attempts. Therefore, this latest update will enable students to strategise and study more efficiently.
He suggested that the duration of CA articleship be extended from two years to three years, offering students greater practical exposure and improving their hands-on experience in the finance and accounting fields.
