The CUTE PG test schedule will shortly be posted on the National Testing Agency's (NTA) official website. The dates of the CUET PG exam are available here for candidates who have successfully registered and are getting ready for the test.

The official notification states that 324 approved locations nationwide will host the CUET PG 2026 exam in March 2026. Nevertheless, NTA has not yet disclosed the precise dates.

What Is CUET PG Exam?

The Ministry of Education (MoE) is implementing the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to postgraduate programs at Central, State, and Participating Universities/Institutes for the Academic Session 2026–2025. Every year, the NTA administers the CUET PG test online. This year, the exam schedule and official information bulletin have been made public by the NTA.

CUET PG Timetable And Pattern

The CUET PG 2026 examination is scheduled to be held in March 2026, and will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The duration of the exam is fixed at one hour and 30 minutes, or 90 minutes, for candidates to complete all the questions.

With a total score of 300, the CUET PG test consists of 75 questions based on core topic knowledge. This online test has a total time limit of 1.5 hour. There are multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the paper. 

Correction Window

The Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2026 correction window had opened by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Between Jan. 28 and Jan. 30, 2026, candidates who enrolled for the exam had the opportunity to make revisions to their forms.

CUET PG Exam Marking Scheme

The CUET PG 2026 examination will follow a tightly structured marking scheme over a duration of 90 minutes, with candidates required to attempt a total of 75 questions. Each correct response will fetch four marks, while every incorrect answer will lead to a deduction of 1 mark, underscoring the importance of accuracy and careful question selection.

With this pattern, the paper carries a maximum of 300 marks, making strategic time and attempt management crucial for aspirants aiming for top scores.
