Negotiations among Asean and other countries over the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership have completed and the trade deal could be signed on November 15, according to Vietnam's Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Dzung.
The signing will depend on whether “internal procedures” of the negotiating nations are completed, Dzung said during a briefing ahead of the 37th Asean Summit. The bloc comprises Asean countries and other nations, including Japan, Australia, South Korea and China.

The summit, which begins Thursday and runs through Sunday, will be held virtually through video conferencing. Vietnam, as the 2020 Asean chair, will host the meetings.
