Fresh Covid-19 cases in India dropped after staying above the 20,000-mark for four straight days.
The country reported 16,935 new infections and 51 deaths in the last 24-hours, according to an update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 8 a.m. on July 18.
New cases, however, continue to exceed recoveries, pushing up the active tally.
