Sundaram-Clayton Declares Interim Dividend Of Rs 4.75 Per Share, Fixes Record Date

Sundaram-Clayton Ltd. declared an interim dividend of Rs 4.75 per share for the financial year 2024-25.

The company will pay the approved dividend for approximately 2.2 crore shares. This will take the amount of dividend payout to around Rs 10.42 crore, according to an exchange filing on Friday.

The record date to determine the shareholders eligible to receive the interim dividend has been fixed as March 27.

The payment will be made within a period of 30 days from the declaration of interim dividend, it further said.

In the quarter ended December 2024, Sundaram-Clayton's consolidated revenue fell by 3.9% to Rs 529.35 crore from Rs 550.80 crore in the same period last year. The company's consolidated net loss had narrowed to Rs 44.15 crore as compared to Rs 62.9 crore in the year-ago period.

In the ongoing quarter, the auto components manufacturer commenced the operations of its mega-manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu in January. The plant will develop components for next-generation automotive applications along with advanced engine components, structural elements, and specialised lightweight solutions for electric vehicles.

Shares of Sundaram-Clayton on Friday closed 0.72% higher at Rs 2,240.3 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, as compared to a 0.69% rise in the benchmark Nifty 50.

The stock has risen by 67.6% in the last 12 months and declined by 12.04% year-to-date.
