(Bloomberg) -- Mizuho says in statement it will “vehemently” fight lawsuit claiming it underpays non-white employees based in part on biased performance reviews.
- “These claims are wholly without merit,” firm said in a statement
- Mizuho “fosters a fair working environment for all employees and is disappointed that these individuals chose to file such baseless claims,” according to statement
- Mizuho says it has numerous initiatives to support “diversity, inclusion and equality” as well as robust “anti-harassment, discrimination, and retaliation policies and procedures”
- Lawsuit, filed April 30 in New York, is filed by four ex-executives
