Owale, located in Thane West, along the bustling Ghodbunder Road, has become an increasingly sought-after destination for real estate investments. With its proximity to areas like Anand Nagar and Kasarvadavali, as well as easy access to both the Eastern and Western Express Highways, the region is well-positioned for both residential and commercial growth.
The registration documents reveal that a stamp duty of Rs 68.96 lakh was paid for the transaction, in addition to Rs 30,000 in registration charges. Square Yards, a property consultancy firm, reviewed the documentation and confirmed the details of the acquisition.
Earlier in 2024, Rahul and his wife Athiya Shetty, Suniel Shetty’s daughter, bought a 3,350 sq ft apartment in Sandhu Palace, on Nargis Dutt Road in Bandra's Pali Hill, for over Rs 20 crore.
According to a report by Business Standard, the property, bought from Sandhu Builders, also included four car parking spaces, with a stamp duty of Rs 1.20 crore paid on July 15.
