(Bloomberg) -- Cairn Capital Ltd. hired Asif Godall as deputy chief investment officer, according to a statement from the London-based credit investment firm.
Godall will report to CIO Andrew Jackson and will be responsible for portfolio management in Cairn's multi-asset credit business. He left HSBC Holdings Plc last year after 17 years with the bank, where his last position was global head of traded credit.
Cairn, which focuses on derivatives and structured-credit assets, including collateralized loan obligations, manages $2.4 billion of discretionary assets and has a further $4.1 billion of asset under long-term advice.
