New Delhi: Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) on Thursday reported a 9.3 per cent increase in total sales at 59,707 units last month.
The company had sold 54,607 units in August 2015, it said in a statement.
In the domestic market, Hyundai sold 43,201 units last month compared with 40,505 in August last year, a growth of 6.7 per cent.
Exports rose 17 per cent to 16,506 units as against 14,102 units in the corresponding period a year ago.
