(Bloomberg) -- Australia reported its first confirmed case of coronavirus following the infection of a Wuhan man who flew into Melbourne from China on Jan. 19.
“Victoria has followed its strict protocols, including isolating the affected person,” Australian Chief Medical Officer Professor Brendan Murphy said in a statement. “I understand the patient has pneumonia and is in a stable condition.”
Australia has raised the level of travel advice for Wuhan and Hubei Province to “Level 4 -- do not travel.”
