Saiyaara Advance Booking: Ahaan Panday-Aneet Padda's Film Set For Record Box Office Collection On Day 1

Filmmaker Mohit Suri's upcoming movie Saiyaara is likely to shatter box office collection records in 2025 on its opening day. The romantic drama produced by Yash Raj Films has witnessed record booking ahead of its release on Friday, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.

The movie, which marks the big-screen debut of Ahaan Pandey and Aneeth Padda, is likely to see one of the biggest openings of 2025 so far. At the domestic box office, the movie is expected to garner nearly Rs 25 crore net on the opening day, according to Sacnilk.

The film witnessed advance booking of nearly 1,95,000 tickets for its opening day across the three major national multiplex chains: PVR, INOX and Cinepolis, till Thursday evening. This is the second-highest advance booking of the year so far, just behind Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava, which sold 2,25,000 tickets ahead of release.

On a national level, Saiyaara has clocked in roughly 3,80,000 tickets for day one, according to the Sacnilk data.

The movie has surpassed star-led releases like Sikandar, Housefull 5, Raid 2 and Sitaare Zameen Par in advance booking.

According to Sacnilk, Saiyaara earned Rs 9.4 crore from advance bookings, making it the third-highest for 2025 so far. Only Chhaava (Rs 13.8 crore) and Sikandar (Rs 10.1 crore) remain ahead of it.

Meanwhile, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh praised Mohit Suri's directorial, calling Saiyaara a “well-packaged entertainer” with a gripping screenplay and impactful dialogues. The film's soundtrack is its “biggest triumph”. He called the movie “magic of timeless romance with a modern touch.”
