Is Prime Minister Narendra Modi the next guest on Zerodha Co-Founder Nikhil Kamath's podcast? That’s the question buzzing on social media.
On Wednesday, Kamath shared a promo for the upcoming episode on his social media handle. In the promo, he is seen recounting a past meeting with the guest in Bengaluru, though the guest’s identity remains concealed.
"You might not remember, but this happened a few years ago when you visited Bengaluru to meet people from the startup (ecosystem). Your last meeting of the night was with us. Even then, I was the one asking you questions, as you sat with us for an hour," Kamath could be heard as saying in the promo.
In the promo, the guest could be heard as laughing in response to Kamath's remarks.
Kamath did not reveal the name of his guest for the next episode. However, the audience has speculated that it might be PM Modi based on the distinctive laughter heard in the promo.
If this speculation turns out to be true, it would mark the prime minister's debut on a podcast. While Modi already hosts Mann Ki Baat on All India Radio and has been part of various television interviews, this could be his first appearance in the podcast format.
