Aero India 2025 Air Show In Bengaluru: Check Dates, Timings, Pass Prices And Steps To Book A Pass Online

Aero India 2025: The much-anticipated air show in Bengaluru began on Monday, Feb. 10. Organised by the Ministry of Defence, this biennial event brings together aviation and defence enthusiasts from around the globe. 

The event will take place at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru. This event is one of India's most prestigious aerospace and defence shows, where global aviation vendors and the Indian Air Force come together to showcase awe-inspiring aerobatic displays.

Here's all you need to know about Aero India 2025.

Aero India 2025 event is spread across five days, with the first three days (Feb 10–12) reserved for business travellers, while the last two days (Feb 13–14) are open to the general public.

The Aero India 2025 exhibition will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the event days.

• Business Pass: Rs 5,000 (Indian citizens), USD 150 (foreign nationals)

• ADVA Pass: Rs 1,000 (Indian citizens), USD 50 (foreign nationals)

• General Visitor Pass: Rs 2,500 (Indian citizens), USD 50 (foreign nationals)

Includes access to both exhibition and Air Display areas.

Here's a step-by-step guide to booking your pass for the event:

1. Visit the official Aero India website: aeroindia.gov.in.

2. Go to the 'Tickets' section and click on the visitor registration option.

3. Select whether you are an Indian visitor or a Foreign visitor.

4. Fill in all the details, approve them and sign up.

5. Then login again and choose the type of pass: Business Pass, General Public Pass, or ADVA (Air Display Viewing Area Pass)

6. Download the pass after approval.

The event will take place at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru. The Yelahanka Air Force Station is located about 25 km from Bengaluru city and is easily accessible via road from Kempegowda International Airport. 

The travel time from the airport to the venue is approximately 40-45 minutes. Due to limited parking, it is advisable to use taxi services or public transport to reach the venue. 

Shuttle buses will be available to ferry visitors from designated parking areas to the exhibition site.

Parking: Designated parking areas are located at GKVK and Jakkur campuses. Shuttle services will be provided to transport visitors to the venue.

Security: All visitors must carry a valid government-issued ID for security checks.

Cameras: DSLR cameras are allowed inside the venue, but drones are strictly prohibited both inside and outside the event grounds.

During the Aero India 2025 curtain-raiser, secretary of Defence Production, Kumar hinted at possible interim acquisitions, including the Russian Sukhoi Su-57 or the American F-35, to bolster India’s airpower amid regional threats. Meanwhile, India is advancing its fifth-generation fighter program under the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft project, with a full-scale prototype set to be unveiled at the Aero Show.
