There is some good news for "Sammy" fans, especially those who love artificial intelligence!

The AI-powered Now Brief — one of the major new features to debut on the Galaxy S25 series — may soon be available on other Samsung devices as well.

Now Brief Setting Discovered In Many Samsung Devices

In their Galaxy S24 Ultra running OneUI 7 beta 6, X user @MEMETCAN88 apparently discovered a Now Brief-related setting on X. The user employed the phone's activity launcher to find the feature, which appears to be concealed.

Later, SamMobile discovered that the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6 and even the Galaxy S10 have the identical settings panel.

For the time being, the settings menu can be merely a placeholder as the Now Brief does not appear to be working on older devices. However, the placeholder indicates that the launch of One UI 7, which is presently limited to Galaxy S25 series, should bring the feature to other devices.

Notably, the One UI 7 rollout is expected on April 7 in most countries, and on April 10 in the US.

What Does Now Brief Do?

The Now Brief offers users various AI-powered personalised briefing throughout the day based on a user's selected content. For example, in the morning, insights about your sleep, weather, commute/traffic updates, breaking news, along with a brief schedule of the day are shared. In the evening, the Now Brief can provide information about your day, the activities you did and more.

The feature automatically provides information based on a user's lifestyle, including health parameters like sleep patterns and energy levels. It also gives reminders of expiration dates for items like flight tickets, train tickets, event tickets and coupons, along with reminders of upcoming tasks, missed calls, and more.

The Now Brief works in sync with the Now Bar, which is located on the lock screen and shows urgent information and priority notifications. According to your schedule and AI's understanding of your likes and interests, the Now Bar displays live notifications, music or modes and routines on the lock screen.
