Samsung Preps New Galaxy A Series Phones: Samsung Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26
The new Galaxy A devices, Samsung Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26, were spotted on a certification website, suggesting that the launch is just around the corner.

After the recent launch of a new member in the Galaxy S series, Samsung is now all prepared to expand its Galaxy A series lineup with three brand new mid-range smartphones: Samsung Galaxy A26, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A56. These devices were just spotted on a certification website TUV Rhineland, suggesting that the launch is just around the corner.
Certified And Ready: Galaxy A Series New Phones
According to a report by Gizmochina, the Samsung Galaxy A26 appeared with model numbers like SM-A266B/DS, SM-A266B, SM-A266M/DS, and SM-A266M. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A36 came out in a wide variety of models, that includes SM-A366B, SM-A336B/DS, and SM-A366E/DS. The premium Samsung Galaxy A56 also entered the game with multiple variants such as SM-A566B/DS and SM-A566E/DS.
The TUV Rheinland certification shows that both the Galaxy A56 and the Galaxy A 36 will support 45W fast charging, whereas the Galaxy A26 will feature 25W charging. This shows that the upcoming A series lineup is a mix of mid- range and premium features.
Connectivity And FCC listing
In addition to TUV Rheinland, the Galaxy A56 is also listed on the US FCC website with the model number SM-A566E/DS. This listing confirms some features like Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and GNSS for connectivity. Surprisingly, while the phone is said to support 45W charging, it was been paired with the Samsung EP-TA800 adapter which is rated for 25W charging. And this suggests that the Galaxy A56 charging may well be faster than even the Samsung Galaxy S25, according to a GSM Arena report, which was launched just days ago. According to WPC the Galaxy S25 series comes with a maximum charging speed of 15W.
Although Samsung has not made the launch date official yet, but the certifications show that the debut is just around the corner. Users who are looking for a balanced performance, charging speed, and easy to pockets, then A series looks promising.
