The date for Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event has been revealed. The tech major will introduce the Samsung Galaxy S25 series at the Unpacked event, which was indicated via an official teaser.
According to the teaser, Samsung will unveil new Galaxy AI features and its upcoming Galaxy S smartphones. A “true AI companion” and the next step in Galaxy AI’s evolution are hinted at in the teaser.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025: Date, Times And Location
The Samsung Galaxy S25 launch event is scheduled for Jan. 22, as previously hinted, at 11:30 PM (IST). Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel will stream the event live.
The event might take place in San Jose, California. The SAP Centre in San Jose hosted the launch of the Galaxy S24 last year.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025: What’s In Store
Samsung said the next evolution of Galaxy AI is “going to change the way you interact with the world every day,” noting that “the new Galaxy S series is about to set the bar once again for mobile AI experiences now and into the future.”
According to the teaser poster on its website, Samsung has highlighted the upcoming Galaxy smartphone. The Jan. 22 event is expected to witness the launch of Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra models.
Galaxy AI will likely be the main attraction at the event, along with announcements about the rollout of One UI 7 update for Galaxy devices.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series: Expected Features
All Galaxy S25 series models are anticipated to be powered by Samsung’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processors. The S25 and S25 Plus are expected to have 12GB RAM, while this could go up to 16GB for the S25 Ultra, with up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus may sport 6.17-inch and 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLEDs screens, respectively, with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, QHD+ resolution, and HDR10+ compatibility. The Galaxy S25 Ultra might have a slightly larger 6.9-inch screen.
According to reports, the phones may come with the same camera configuration as their predecessors, with the exception of the Ultra variant, which will feature a 50MP ultrawide update.
The smartphones are expected to have rounded rather than sharp edges, a characteristic of the Galaxy S series, and substantially thinner bezels. Samsung is also expected to introduce Qi2 wireless charging support for the devices.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Pre-Booking
Samsung has started accepting pre-booking for the Galaxy S25 series in India through the Samsung India Store. By pre-reserving the phones for Rs. 1,999 from today, buyers can save up to Rs. 5,000, the company said. Pre-booking will be open through Jan. 22.
