iPhone SE 4 Launch Confirmed By CEO Tim Cook? Check Mysterious Hint
Tim Cook's cryptic post has Apple fans and followers in a frenzy of speculation about the possible iPhone SE 4 launch, but there are other possibilities too.

Apple iPhone SE 4 will launch on Feb. 19? CEO Tim Cook has shared a teaser or sorts that may also include HomePod, and MacBook Air M4. Notably, this "newest member of the family" post by Apple CEO Tim Cook has almost broken the web and set fire to Apple shares, causing them to go up as much as 2% on Feb. 13. The post left fans wondering about the mystery release: some fans proposed it would be the iPhone SE 4, while others flirted with the idea of the “wall mounted iPad Home thing with a lot of AI.”
Notably, Cook posted a cryptic remark on the social networking site X that said, “Get ready to meet the newest member of the family,” along with a brief animation of a metallic Apple logo, without going into further details. Cook’s X post added, “Wednesday, February 19 #AppleLaunch.”
Unlike for the flagship iPhone series, Apple does not hold any special events for the budget iPhone SE series. So, the actual iPhone SE 4 launch is expected to come through X posts and press releases. Needless to say, fans are excited as this smartphone has been hyped up in a big way - it may have some iPhone 16 specs and AI to boot.
iPhone SE 4 Launch on Feb 19…
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has dismissed launch rumours of a circular device that could be the AirTag 2, which is expected this year. He opined that Cook won’t go to this length on the social media for a $29 device, adding that he would do it for a “major new low end iPhone though.”
Which links to the much-hyped and anticipated iPhone SE 4. The new iPhone SE could take the spotlight on Feb. 19, and Gurman has already hinted at its launch next week. The smartphone is poised to get a major overhaul, packing everything from a refreshed look resembling the iPhone 14, Face ID replacing the older Home button, A18 chip under its hood, bigger 6.1-inch OLED display, Apple-made 5G modem, 48MP camera, bigger battery with USB-C port, 8GB RAM with 128GB base storage, and support for Apple Intelligence’s smart AI features.
…Or HomePod, MacBook Air M4, And More!
However, the iPhone SE 4 isn’t the only one doing the rounds on the rumour mill. Apple has been working on a new HomePod device, and the branding of Cook’s video has a HomePod-like appearance and feel, experts say.
Some have also speculated that the logo’s colours evoke the MacBook Air M4, another Apple product that is rumoured to come out soon. Still others have speculated about the AirTag 2.
Apple may even reveal more than one device on Feb. 19. Perhaps the new iPhone SE could be the show-stopper, and the HomePod, MacBook Air M4, etc. might light up the ramp as well.
Thankfully for Apple lovers, just a few days of wait-and-watch ahead before the mystery is cleared up!
