Google Pixel 10 Pro Officially Teased: Launch Date, Key Specifications And Design Revealed
Google has officially confirmed that its upcoming Pixel 10 lineup will debut next month. Following the announcement of its annual "Made by Google" event, scheduled for Aug. 20, the company has now revealed that the Pixel 10 Pro will be available starting the very next day.
Last week, the tech giant sent out invitations for the event, which will be held in New York City. It is widely expected that the company will unveil both the Pixel 10 series and the Pixel Watch 4 during the event.
On Monday, Google quietly updated the homepage of its online store, which now displays the message: “Google Pixel 10 Pro. Coming Aug. 21.”
Additionally, Google has also announced that Google Store Plus subscribers, who sign up by Aug. 19, 12:30 p.m. IST, will receive an exclusive Pixel 10 series offer when pre-orders go live.
The smartphone maker has also shared a small clip on its homepage, displaying the first official look of the Pixel 10 Pro model. The Pixel 10 Pro, shown in a metallic finish, features a horizontal camera bump. The camera system is positioned just below the top edge. However, Google has not revealed any additional details yet.
It is being speculated that at its Aug. 20 event, Google will also unveil Pixel 10, 10 Pro XL and 10 Pro Fold. Contrary to earlier rumours that the Pixel 10 series may not have the horizontal camera layout, the recent glimpse of the Pixel 10 Pro reveals a redesigned camera bar. It now stretches from edge to edge, rather than occupying only part of the back in a horizontal format.
Reports also indicate that the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro may come with 6.3-inch displays, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL could offer a larger 6.8-inch screen. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold is likely to include an 8-inch inner display along with a 6.4-inch cover screen.
