At its Made by Google event on Aug. 20, the tech giant will unveil its Pixel 10 range. One of the devices that has been relatively under the radar is the Pixel 10 Pro Fold — and that's because it's not getting major upgrades this year.
Last year's Pixel 9 Pro Fold was a significant advancement in foldable technology, and Google is only expected to tweak it slightly with the 10 Pro Fold. So what will change, and what won't?
Here's a closer look at all the expected Pixel 10 Pro Fold features and specs, along with the pricing.
1. Chipset
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will likely be powered by Google's latest Tensor G5 chipset, which is the first processor to use TSMC's 3nm fabrication process.
2. Operating System
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will run Android 16 out-of-the-box with Pixel UI.
3. Display
The cover display of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold might be enlarged from 6.3 inches to 6.4 inches, with improved peak brightness of 3,000 nits and 120Hz refresh rates. Google is reportedly decreasing the bezel and hinge size on the cover screen. The main display will likely remain at 8 inches.
4. Rear Cameras
Optics are rumoured to remain unchanged this year. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold could feature a 48MP main camera, 10.5MP ultrawide, and 10.8MP 5x telephoto lens.
5. Front Cameras
The front-facing cameras on both screens will probably be the same as last year too: 10MP.
6. Battery
There is a chance that Google might pack a bigger 5,015mAh battery in the 10 Pro Fold, with 23W wired and 15W wireless charging with Qi2.
7. Thickness/Weight
In its folded avatar, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could measure 10.5 mm, and 5.1 mm in its unfolded state. Its weight might be 257 gm.
8. RAM/Storage
The 10 Pro Fold is tipped to come with 16GB RAM, with storage options of 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB (new).
9. Protection
The device could be the first foldable with an IP68 rating for protection against dust and water.
10. Price
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold's price is expected to remain the same as last year's 9 Pro Fold: $1,799.
