Apple iPhone Fold: Launch Date, Dummy Images Leaked — Check Top Features
iPhone Fold may feature an unfolded display slightly larger than an iPhone Pro Max

The first folding iPhone, expected to be called the iPhone Fold or iPhone Ultra, could arrive this September. A new report supports this timeline and fresh leaks of its anticipated design have surfaced online.

The leaked images were shared by tipster Sonny Dickson on X platform. Known for a strong track record, he posted photos of what he claimed are dummies showing the final size of the iPhone Fold, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

The pictures show bright pink metallic models, though the final device is unlikely to use this colour. These designs are just placeholders to demonstrate design and size.

In the images, one of the key highlights that emerged was the iPhone Fold's wide, tablet-like display. When opened, it may resemble an iPad mini turned sideways. This suggests Apple is aiming for a broader screen, different from the more square designs seen in most foldable phones today.

“Exclusive First Dummies of what the final size of the iPhone Fold, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will look like,” Dickson wrote on X.

The leaked images also show that compared to the iPhone 18 Pro, the iPhone Fold appears much shorter in height. When folded, it looks compact and alxmost half the size of the dummy model. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models look very similar to their predecessors.

According to Forbes, the iPhone Fold may feature an unfolded display slightly larger than an iPhone Pro Max, but close to an iPad mini. Earlier, many reports emerged claiming that Apple might delay the launch of the iPhone Fold. However, a new report shared by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman stated that it remains on schedule.

“Based on checks with several people, Apple isn't going through some foldable iPhone crisis at the moment. The company remains on track to announce the device in the first half of September, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max,” Gurman reported. He went on to say that there's no folding iPhone crisis at Apple and normal schedules will be observed.
