Barely days after a video showed a prototype of the rumoured iPhone 17 Air, new photos have emerged showing how thin the Air is as compared to other iPhone 17 models.
Now, dummy units have appeared of the alleged iPhone 17 Air, which is expected to launch along with iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max in September. In the newly leaked photos that show them all stacked together, it is extremely clear which of the four iPhone 17 phones is the Air.
Just How Thin Is iPhone 17 Air?

The photos of the iPhone 17 series' dummy units were shared on X by famous Apple leaker Sonny Dickson (@SonnyDickson). One of the pictures shows the dummies in black and white and the different designs of the back camera blocks.
While three dummies include blocks that span the entire width of the phones' back, the iPhone 17 essentially appears the same as the iPhone 16, with a smaller, vertical camera block. It appears that the iPhone 17 Air variant only has one lens, but the two Pro models have three cameras.
Another set of pictures shows the four dummies alongside each other, showing the left, right, and bottom edges of the phones. The purported iPhone 17 Pro Max dummy comes across as the thickest and tallest.
One can clearly make out the Air variant among the four; it's the thinnest with just about enough space for the USB port and side buttons. Going by earlier leaks and rumours, the iPhone 17 Air will measure a mere 5.65mm at its thinnest.
iPhone 17 Air: Expected Features, Price
According to earlier reports, the iPhone 17 Air is expected to be powered by an A18 or A19 processor. It could feature a 6.6-inch OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, a 48MP single rear camera and 24MP front camera, 12GB RAM, and a smaller battery as compared to the other iPhone 17 variants due to its thinness. It will probably come with a titanium frame.
The iPhone 17 Air could be priced between $1,299 and $1,500 (around Rs 1,09,00 to 1,26,000).
