Maharashtra Premier League 2025: Schedule, Teams, Squads, When And Where To Watch MPL 6
This will be the sixth edition of the Maharashtra Premier League. Ratnagiri Jets are the defending champions of the Maharashtra Premier League.

MPL 2025: The Maharashtra Premier League is all set to kick off on Wednesday, June 4. The 2025 edition of the domestic T20 tournament will consist of 34 matches, all of which will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
The opening match of season 6 of MPL will be played between reigning champions Ratnagiri Jets and Eagle Nashik Titans. The finale will be held on June 22.
Ahead of the match, fans will be able to catch an enthralling opening ceremony which will feature celebrity performances and light shows.
Ratnagiri Jets also won the 2023 edition, but in a dramatic style. After the final was washed out due to rain, Ratnagiri were announced the champions, thanks to their highest points and best net run rate in the league stage. Raigad Royals won the first MPL in 2009, followed by Sinhagad Supremos and Devgiri Emperors in 2010 and 2011-12, respectively.

MPL 2025 Opening Ceremony
The grand opening ceremony will include a dazzling performance by Bollywood diva Chitrangda Singh. This will be followed by a dance performance by S Unity Crew, dazzling fireworks, a light show, and drone shows. Organisers have announced that the event will showcase the vibrant culture of Maharashtra.

MPL 2025 Match Dates, Timing And Format
The Maharashtra-based T20 event will get underway on June 4 and will run until June 22. The playoffs are slated to take place on June 20 and 21. On double-header days, the afternoon game will begin at 2 p.m. and the evening fixture will start at 7 p.m. There will also be some morning matches, scheduled at 9:30 p.m.
Similar to the IPL, the MPL will be played in the double-round robin format with teams facing each other twice in the league stage. The top four teams in the standings will advance to the playoffs.
The first two teams will meet in Qualifier 1, while the following two will battle it out in the do-or-die Eliminator. The winners of the first Qualifier will directly reach the final, but the losers will face the winners of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2.
